M-STEM: The Future of Higher Ed?

Several species within Higher Education are in danger of becoming extinct. Some argue evolution is always for the better; yet most for-profit colleges run mostly by the numbers, and the blind spot is communication and remembering from our past mistakes (history).

A data-driven approach would elevate STEM-based curriculum, which has happened, but an example of a blind spot many STEM institutions face is communication. Harvey Mudd topped a recent “ROI” list (over Stanford, Harvard), and it is exactly because they help their technologists to know how to communicate.
